The warehouse manager is responsible for the overall direction, coordination and evaluation of the warehouse.
Responsibilities:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with policies, procedures and applicable laws in a fair and consistent manner.
- Plans, assigns and directs employee work load.
- Writes performance appraisals.
- Addresses and resolves complex and confidential issues.
- Establishes operational procedures for the warehouse.
- Must be flexible to be able to cover various positions and shifts.
- Works closely with Branch Manager and HR to resolve issues and ensure quality service to our customers.
- Other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Ability to lead by example.
- Ability to deal with complex and confidential issues in a professional manner.
- Familiarity with current routes a must.
- Must be dependable.
- Must have a current and valid driver’s license.
- Must pay attention to detail and demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness.
- Must regularly lift and or move 75lbs or more.
- Must possess outstanding communication skills with an ability to converse, read & write in English.
- Must be able to multi-task and work in a fast-pace environment.
- Working knowledge of Pegasus and AX.
- Strong mathematical skills.
