What we need
MAHAR is seeking a full-time warehouse clerk to join our team in Saginaw, MI. If you possess or are willing to obtain a chauffeur’s license, are willing to cross train, enjoy little to no overtime (work-life balance!), and have a customer service mentality, this is the job for you!
What You'll Do:
- Perform work including but not limited to loading and unloading trucks, order-picking and packing, receiving and storage of inventory and supplies
- Perform cycle counts
- Check, count and may account for items within containers; verifiy accurate count of incoming or outgoing materials and merchandise
- Maintain good housekeeping and reports on any dangerous situations or malfunction of equipment; reports fire or safety hazards to the Warehouse Manager
- When required to perform deliveries, follow assigned scheduling; make every effort to ensure that deliveries are on time as scheduled
The Schedule You’ll Work
Monday – Friday 1st shift Approx. 7 am – 4 pm
Occasional additional hours to cover absences
Paid Vacation and Paid Holidays
Minimum Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED; must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record; forklift experience preferred; ability to maintain positive working relationships; basic knowledge of computers and MS Office; must submit to and pass drug test and background check.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand for long periods of time
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and assist in lifting 135 pounds on a regular basis
Ability to read small print on labels and boxes
Must be able to lift, bend and climb on a regular basis
