What you will be doing
**$2,000 SIGN ON BONUS**
Shift Time-Sunday 3pm-complete, Monday-Thursday 5:00pm-complete
Pay Rate- $18.00+ an hour (DOE & Driving Experience)
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
If available in the Distribution Center, associate must be able to utilize the functions of the automated warehouse management system in order to perform daily tasks.
Checks each order after the order picking process is complete to ensure the product is packed appropriately to prevent damage during transit.
Repacks orders when necessary following quality standards and procedures.
Seals packages properly so that the contents will not be damaged and the route information is visible.
Checks the picking slip or mailing labels to ensure the customer's address, route number, and stop number can be read easily by the Truck Driver.
Arranges containers by route number for loading and by stop number for delivery to make the Truck Drivers delivery task as efficient as possible.
Prepares packages for shipment via common carriers by making sure each package is accompanied by the appropriate paperwork and that the carrier is specified. Adheres to special handling requirements when necessary.
May telephone common carrier for pickup, transfers packages to shipping area, delivers packages to carrier driver, ensures that drivers sign appropriate paperwork, and transfers paperwork to office.
Complies with all appropriate policies, procedures, safety rules and DEA regulations.
Must be able to work overtime when necessary and participate in physical inventory.
Verifies that totes, cases, and paperwork are accurate prior to delivery.

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
Requires completion of a high school diploma, general education degree (GED) or equivalent combination of experience and education. Normally requires less than one (1) year of equivalent work experience. Previous experience operating a forklift is preferred.
MINIMUM SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITY REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to read and understand the English language for the purpose of reading shipping and receiving documents and product labels.
- Must possess basic mathematical skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills; ability to develop and maintain cooperative working relationships with others.
- Strong organizational skills; detail oriented.
- Ability to use good judgment in order to carry out detailed instructions.
