The Warehouse Associate is responsible for the safe and prompt movement of product throughout the facility including received goods/materials and finished product shipping out to customers. The Warehouse Associate is also responsible for maintaining accurate inventory notes and organization of the warehouse. While some work is performed within the warehouse environment, the majority is performed outdoors.

Warehouse Associate Responsibilities:

• Comply with all safety procedures and in/outdoor tidy maintenance guidelines; ensure the safety, security, and sanitation of workspaces; conduct periodic inspections of the warehouse
• Accurately and promptly follow written/oral instructions regarding daily job duties
• Ensure daily equipment inspections are complete prior to shift start reporting deficiencies immediately
• Fulfill orders by pulling product and packaging, and prepare necessary paperwork accurately and efficiently
• Strap/re-skid products as required; must have the ability to use and operate hand tools (including pneumatic tools); includes bundling pipes which requires frequent heavy lifting and maneuvering throughout the work shift
• Maintain accurate documents and records for all handled and shipped goods
• Complete transactions within the system for all stock moves and material picks using a handheld scanner or computer
• Sort cargo while loading or unloading marking containers with identifying information; inspect product for quality control and stock level issues
• Keep and maintain an inventory by labeling, identifying, and placing materials in stock; periodically pul and review inventory and supplies to ensure stock numbers are correct
• Consolidate like parts to maintain warehouse organization
• Ensure all product anticipated to ship for the day will be complete including shipping prep: pulling, packing, rating, loading, and securing the product
• Be available to load/unload a variety of materials from trucks/vans using necessary equipment
• Champion of warehouse locations to achieve inventory accuracy, tidiness, and maintain a safe working environment
• Problem solving skills to react quickly and appropriately to handle problems or expedite needs in the warehouse

Warehouse Associate Requirements:

• Valid Driver's license and access to reliable transportation are required
• Ability to run various types of propane or electric powered forklifts and/or hand trucks required; current forklift operation certification preferred
• Ability to lift 50 or more pounds as needed throughout work shift required
• Must have the ability to work in an outdoor environment throughout the year
• Ability to work scheduled hours as required by the company, occasional overtime hours may be required/scheduled
• At least one year's experience in inventory management preferred
• Strong attention to detail required
• Strong English oral and written communications skills, strong mathematics skills; ability to read and understand shipping manifests and related documents required
• Must maintain a positive attitude; also maintain a high volume and high quality workload under demanding conditions
• Must possess the ability to work under pressure and manage competing priorities at all times
