We are looking for two Warehouse Associates to help organize our storage areas and maintain our inventory. The main duties revolve around moving material around the facility as needed. As a Warehouse Associate, you’ll monitor inventory and communicate any shortages. You should have great attention to detail to maintain accurate records. Some physical strength is required since you may often need to lift packages by hand. If you’re reliable and fast on your feet, we’d like to meet you.

This is a first shift position from 8am-4pm and 10am-6pm.

Responsibilities:

• Pull raw materials from inventory at the discretion of the manufacturing department
• Ensure raw materials are properly put away at the end of the shift
• Perform cycle counts
• Prepare reports
• Check daily returns
• Correct inventory discrepancies
• Implement process improvement initiatives
• Maintain consistent and acceptable productivity, and quality standards
• Support and maintain an orderly and clean work environment through continuous cleaning efforts
• Support other departments in the warehouse as business dictates
• Prioritize and handle multiple tasks and independent projects in a timely manner with minimal supervision
• Maintain flexibility in work schedule to best support business needs
• Unload and put away all raw material deliveries
• Take trash and cardboard waste to the appropriate compactor
• Load finished goods into transfer trailer
• Other duties as assigned

Abilities/Skills/Knowledge Requirements:

• Minimum of two (2) years manufacturing or warehouse experience;
• Good basic math skills and knowledge of how to read a tape measure;
• Basic computer skills;
• Skill in organizing work, taking initiative, setting priorities, and sound decision making; and
• Possess logic, problem solving, and troubleshooting skills.
• Tow motor certification is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $15.00 per hour

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:

• Shipping & receiving: 1 year (Preferred)
• Warehouse experience: 1 year (Preferred)
• Forklift: 1 year (Preferred)

Shift availability:

• Day Shift (Preferred)
