Prepares merchandise for sale in the Getty stores, organizes merchandise and supplies in the warehouse and warehouse annexes. Supports the Getty stores.
Major Job Responsibilities:
  • Receives merchandise into inventory system, ensuring that merchandise is in sellable condition, and that quantities and costs are correct
  • Shelves merchandise according to warehouse procedures
  • Performs administrative duties: organize and file purchase orders, invoices, receiving reports, and transfers; process mail; update vendor list
  • Pulls restock of merchandise sold in the stores to replenish sales floor
  • Packages and ships customer orders purchased in-store or via phone
Qualifications:
  • High school/GED
  • 1-2 years experience in warehouse environment
  • Driver's license
Requirement: All employees must be fully vaccinated against the COVID-19 virus as a condition of employment. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Communication and interpersonal skills
  • Customer service skills
  • Must be able to operate a computerized integrated POS/inventory system
  • Training for forklift and pallet jack operation may be required and provided
  • May need to operate a 2-axle box truck
  • Ability to understand and implement policies and procedures
  • Basic math skills
  • Knowledge of institution's health and safety practices
  • Must be able to lift up to 40lbs from the floor
