Prepares merchandise for sale in the Getty stores, organizes merchandise and supplies in the warehouse and warehouse annexes. Supports the Getty stores.
Major Job Responsibilities:
- Receives merchandise into inventory system, ensuring that merchandise is in sellable condition, and that quantities and costs are correct
- Shelves merchandise according to warehouse procedures
- Performs administrative duties: organize and file purchase orders, invoices, receiving reports, and transfers; process mail; update vendor list
- Pulls restock of merchandise sold in the stores to replenish sales floor
- Packages and ships customer orders purchased in-store or via phone
- High school/GED
- 1-2 years experience in warehouse environment
- Driver's license
- Communication and interpersonal skills
- Customer service skills
- Must be able to operate a computerized integrated POS/inventory system
- Training for forklift and pallet jack operation may be required and provided
- May need to operate a 2-axle box truck
- Ability to understand and implement policies and procedures
- Basic math skills
- Knowledge of institution's health and safety practices
- Must be able to lift up to 40lbs from the floor
