Job description
As a Warehouse Associate you will be responsible for a wide range of warehouse activities, manual and clerical inventory support in processing cartons, data entry, and forklift operation. The Warehouse Associate will also audit orders to check and inspect cartons to reflect accurate quantity and condition for completeness.
PRIMARY DUTIES:
- Check, inspect, audit, and log data into the appropriate inventory systems to reflect the quantity and condition of merchandise received or distributed.
- Prepare cartons for processing.
- Locate, prepare, and affix appropriate labels.
- Pack, scan, sort, and route cartons.
- Load, unload, and pick utilizing vehicle cube effectively and according to specific route/stop orientation.
- Train and coach associates in basic procedures and techniques.
- Utilize various pieces of material handling equipment (MHE) including pallet movers, stand up forklifts, high lift reach trucks, and order picker.
- Utilize RF scanners to electronically perform warehouse activities.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Ability to utilize, or learn to use, all necessary computer software and equipment.
