Position Title: Walk Laborer
Reports To: Walk Manager
Status: Seasonal Non-Exempt
Position Purpose:
Position adheres to TSP’s mission statement; the Walk Laborer’s responsibility is to perform tasks that involve manual labor.
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
- Shovel designated areas
- Load and unload bags of salt
- Perform any other duties as requested by supervisor
Education, Requirements, and/or Professional Experience:
- High School Diploma or G.E.D.
Skills/Qualifications:
- On-Call daily availability from October 15th to April 15th
- Must have a cell phone that can download timekeeping application
Physical Requirements:
- Required to walk, stand, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, lift, grasp, carry, push and pull
- Must be able to shovel snow for long periods of time
- Must be able to lift and/or move 50 pounds plus
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
