Description of role:

We're seeking a seasoned VP of Sales to coordinate our rep team, recruit additional sales groups, and service substantial existing business in the high-end Resort Gift & Souvenir industry. Experience in custom product/design development preferred.

We are looking for an individual familiar with the industry, possessing existing key account relationships and experience.

This position is responsible for the management of client relationships, supporting regional sales personnel, and developing growth strategies. They will provide direction on program solutions and lead the team in new business implementations.

Tasks:

  • Drive business growth through developing new customer relationships and expanding business with existing customers.
  • Assist executive team in developing sales strategies and entering new markets.
  • Develop key account relationships.
  • Coordinate and support sales rep agencies as the main point of contact.
  • Lead organization and attend trade shows. Schedule sales meetings, coordinate reps and plan logistics of trade show materials.
  • Collaborate with Art Department to create customer specific products.
  • Provide insight on market trends and opportunities.

Skills and requirements:

  • Education/ Training: Bachelor's Degree (BA/BS) required.
  • Sales Experience: At least 5 years of experience in sales and client management. Management & leadership experience is a plus.
  • Existing key account relationships and experience in Resort & Souvenir industry.
  • Ability to build strong, productive relationships with clients and internal teams.
  • Highly developed interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate with clients to achieve marketing and business goals.
  • Must be able to work independently, accepting accountability for achieving defined goals and objectives.
  • Must demonstrate effective leadership skills and the ability to manage and resolve complex and sensitive issues.
  • Proven ability to multitask and manage projects to successful completion.
  • Proficient in MS Office Programs (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint).
  • Experience with CRM software.

Work schedule:

Spring Lake Office Monday to Friday, 9am - 8pm

Remote position.

This is a full-time opportunity, flexible hours within office operation.
