Job Summary
The Visitor Concierge will function as a greeter for visitors, patients and employees entering Excela Health buildings. The Visitor Concierge will conduct the standard screening (s) of visitors and patients as needed, will perform basic customer service and reception functions and will register visitors into the visitor tracking program.
Essential Job Functions
- Greet patients and visitors by welcoming them and identifying oneself by first name
- Conduct standard screening (s) for each visitor and patient
- Assure adherence to current visitor policies
- Register visitors in VisiTrak tracking program
- Direct visitors in accordance with current guidelines
- Work cooperatively with the Patient Concierge
- Round in Lobby to assure the patient and visitor needs are being met
- Maintain clean, orderly work station and lobby area
- Provide customer service support for visitors and patients
- Other duties as assigned Screen all visitors
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma, GED, or Higher Level of Education
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Basic computer skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Customer service experience.
License, Certification & Clearances
- Act 34-PA Criminal Record Check from the PA State Police system
Supervisory Responsibilities
- This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
- Incumbent will be scheduled based on operational need (rotate shifts, standby, on-call, etc.).
- Travel may be expected locally between Excela Health locations.
