Internal Medicine Veterinary Technician

We are looking for experienced technicians to help run appointments, sedate patients, monitor anesthesia, and manage many different diseases of the body. Our Internal Medicine doctors rely heavily on their Technicians to assist with appointments, anesthetized and hospitalized patients, assist in multiple different scope procedures and communicate their recommendations to clients. The team fosters close relationships with our clients in order to provide the best care for their pets. A love for client service is a must for this department.

Our IMed Technicians will enjoy a 4 day work week!

• We strive to help our technicians maintain a work life balance. To help accomplish this, we offer set schedules so you can plan your life outside of work. Our IMed Technicians will work four 10-hour shifts per week and have 3 days off.

Outside of IMed we have plenty of learning opportunities in our hospital for the inquisitive technician!

Our 30,000 sq. ft. facility is outfitted with state-of-the-art equipment including a 16 slice CT, MRI, Endoscopy, Multiple Mechanical Ventilators, two Digital Radiology suites, both Flat-bed and C-Arm Fluoroscopy, an Operating Microscope, Nuclear Scintigraphy, and Linear Accelerator.

We have separate Gastrointestinal, Respiratory, and Intensive Care Isolation Units, a separate and dedicated cat ward as well as a dedicated I-131 treatment ward. We have specialists in Anesthesiology, Critical Care, Dermatology, Internal Medicine, Neurology, Ophthalmology, Oncology, Physical Rehabilitation, Radiation Oncology, and Surgery.

We actively promote cross-training in all the departments and we are seeking motivated individuals who are interested in learning how to run all of the hospital's equipment and perform all of our intricate procedures.

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Required)

Experience:
