Experienced Veterinarians, a leading animal hospital in Norwalk is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Veterinary Radiologist to join our growing team.

Key Duties

• Interpreting and diagnosing radiographic images, including X-rays, CT scans, and MRI scans
• Performing a variety of imaging procedures, such as X-rays, CT scans, and MRI scans, and ensuring the safety and comfort of the patient during the procedure
• Communicating findings and recommendations with other veterinary professionals, including veterinarians, technicians, and pet owners
• Staying current with advances in veterinary radiology, including new imaging techniques and technologies
• Maintaining accurate and complete patient records, including radiographic images and reports
• Collaborating with other veterinary specialists, as needed, to provide comprehensive patient care
• Participating in continuing education and professional development activities to maintain and enhance clinical knowledge and skills

Key Skills, Qualifications & Client Requirements

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited veterinary school
• Excellent diagnostic and interpretive skills for radiographic images, including X-rays, CT scans, and MRI scans
• Board certification or eligibility for certification in veterinary radiology from the American College of Veterinary Radiology (ACVR) or the European College of Veterinary Diagnostic Imaging (ECVDI)
• Strong knowledge of veterinary anatomy, physiology, and radiology
• Experience working with veterinary patients and a strong understanding of veterinary medicine
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate findings and recommendations to other veterinary professionals and pet owners
• Completion of a recognized veterinary radiology residency program, or equivalent post-graduate training in veterinary radiology
