The San Diego Unified School District currently has the following part-time Clerk Typist I positions available:
  • Mira Mesa High School (Area B)
    • Scheduled for 25 hours per week, 10 months per year

This opportunity is open only to candidates who have been PRE-QUALIFIED for the Clerk Typist I position.

  • Pre-qualified candidates must complete this online employment application to be considered for this position.
  • Pre-qualified candidates are individuals that have applied for the Clerk Typist I- Pre-qualified Pool and have successfully passed the requirements/exam process. Examples of Duties

BASIC FUNCTION:
The Clerk Typist I will perform entry-level general office-clerical duties in schools and central administrative offices.

Minimum Qualifications
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Any combination of training, experience, and/or education equivalent to high school graduation.

LICENSES AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
Typing/keyboarding certificate at a net, corrected speed of 25 words per minute.

  • This classification requires that incumbents be skilled in typing/keyboarding at a minimum of 25 words per minute. Applicants must certify in writing that they have such skills. Demonstrated proficiency will be expected during the probationary period for the class.
