FAIRFIELD , MILFORD AND NORWALK LOCATIONS:

Gymnastics and Cheerleading Academy of CT is in search of Tumbling, Dance, Gymnastics and Cheerleading Coaches to join the team! We are looking for coaches to flourish in a fast paced and active environment, where they will implement positive coaching techniques to allow for the success in each and every athlete. This individual will possess knowledge of the sport of tumbling, dance and cheer in strength and skill development for early beginner athletes and/or advanced-elite athletes. All applicants should be enthusiastic, motivated, committed and dependable.

Positions Available:

TUMBLING INSTRUCTOR
I am looking for part time experienced tumbling instructors for all 3 locations (Fairfield, Milford, Norwalk). Who Can spot, teach, and is willing to work!!!! We will also train. Looking for Someone to teach beginner to advanced classes.

ASSISTANT CHEER DIRECTOR
Looking for someone with All Star cheer experience. Knowledge of USASF rules and regulations. Experience in coaching all ages and levels. This is a Full time position.

DANCE INSTRUCTORS
Looking for dance teachers with Ballet, Tap, Hiphop, Contemporary, Lyrical, Pointe, Modern, Acro, and yoga background. Experience with teaching all ages. We will train!! Part time and Full time postitions available.

COMPETITIVE DANCE TEAM COACHES
Looking for dance coaches to run teams through the competitive season. Experience with choreography and coaching kids of all ages. This is a part time position.

GYMNASTICS COACH

looking for coaches to work with recreational gymnastics classes. Skills beginner-advanced. must love children! Experience preferred but willing to train.

Qualifications:

• Ensure the safety of each athlete
• Teach/coach proper form and technique
• Implement skill progression and strength progression for proper level development
• Provide a positive atmosphere

• Candidate should have 1-2 years of previous experience (we are willing to train best candidates)– part-time
• Ability to spot through skills safely

• Ability to coach different age groups: 5yrs-18yrs

• Implement curriculum to allow for proper progression on each event
• Passion to learn and continue education in the sport of gymnastics, cheer, and tumbling
• CPR/AED certified within 30 days of job hire
• Allow children the ability to thrive through their sport as well as providing a fun environment
• Encourage and help children build character through motivation
• Background check performed upon employment

Job Type:

• Part-time and Full-time

Experience:

• Dance/cheer/tumbling/gymnastic coaching: 1-2 years (Preferred for Part-time)

Compensation:

• Based on experience

Start Date:

• Immediate
