Position Description:

• Operates telephone and paging system to receive and direct calls
• Greets visitors, determines nature of visits and directs accordingly
• Monitors the application completion process and tracks number of applicants and applicant flow
• Provides general clerical support and administrative duties to the HR Department
• Assists with reviewing applications, background checks and scheduling interviews for hourly applicants
• Assists with distribution of payroll checks
• Provides associates with appropriate HR forms upon request
• Distributes exit interview forms to terminated associates
• Informs vending machine companies of needed repairs

Minimum Requirements:

• Must project positive image, very professional in demeanor and appearance
• Must have customer service skills to visitors and all employees of HomeGoods
• Trustworthy with confidential information
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Able to multitask
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to adapt to change
• Computer skills including basic experience with Word, Excel and the Internet
• Customer Service oriented
• Must be Bilingual English/Spanish
• Must be able to work weekend shift (Friday, Saturday, Sunday 5:00 am to 5:30 pm)
