Basic Job Functions:

TRUFAST Walls is a division of Altenloh, Brinck, & Co. US, Inc. TRUFAST Walls is a US manufacturer of fasteners for exterior building envelopes. Located right near downtown Grand Rapids, Michigan. This position will be responsible for general warehouse duties such as packaging, assembly, order picking, fulfillment, loading and unloading trucks, etc.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Assemble small fastener components with both hands in repetitive motions.
• Packaging bulk products into smaller saleable goods.
• Order picking and processing.
• Loading and unloading trucks.
• General warehouse duties
• Must be able to stand, walk, and move throughout the work day.
• Position will report directly to Warehouse Supervisor and/or Operations Manager.
  

Experience:

• Previous warehouse experience is a plus

Education:

• High School Diploma or GED

Required Skills/Competencies:

• Must be willing to operator and able to obtain forklift license
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
• Must demonstrate a positive attitude and ability to communicate effectively.
• Ability to multi-task and be self-directed.
• Detail oriented.
• Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs. Maneuver heavy loads stacked on pallets.
• Good work history and dependability.
• Must demonstrate good safety practices and adhere to all company policies and procedures.
• Ability to work well alone and be self-motivated.

Physical Requirements:

Remaining in a stationary position, often standing or sitting for prolonged periods. The employee is regularly required to sit, talk, or hear; frequently required to use repetitive hand motion, and to stand, walk, reach, bend or lift up to 75 pounds.
