Job Description:
The Routing Supervisor's primary duties are to manage Roadnet accounts to ensure the accounts are properly set up, delete inactive accounts, and schedule routes for RSAs. This position monitors the RSA routes and hours and also adjusts loads accordingly. This position also reviews returned orders for any routing issues and arranges key drops. • Ensure the setup of new Roadnet accounts and delete inactive accounts. • Complete Roadnet geocoding and assign to a shuttle site if warranted. • Verify that Roadnet routing sessions are combined by the end of the day. • Make recommendations for accounts to be delivered on night trucks and / or key drops. • Verify and assign keys for all night truck accounts and update the “Nite” Code Sheet. • Schedule Route Service Associates according to available hours or service regulations. • Analyze and recommend to the Logistics Department the best backhaul vendors pickup days and times. • Monitor Route Service Associate hours and adjust loads accordingly. • Monitor hourly associate’s hours to control overtime expense. • Update RSA numbers to be assigned to new RSA’s. • Conduct audits to verify the Route Header for the next day’s business is correct. • Instruct supervision to use the “check & balance” tools put in place to be pro-active instead of being re-active. • Make recommendations for any DSR scheduling conflict. • Schedule trailer loan drop offs and pickups along with invoice numbers if necessary. • Look over the beginning of day/end of day checklist to ensure proper management of work shift. Review returned orders to see if it was a routing issue

Job Qualifications:

• Knowledge of DOT hours of service and driver log maintenance • Proficient in Microsoft Excel & Word (Spreadsheets) • Knowledge of Roadnet (Routing Software) • Knowledge of XATA (On-Board computer) • Knowledge of Driver-Pro (Scanning) • Knowledge of Kronos (Payroll, Vacations) • Knowledge of DriveCam) (In-cab Cameras) • High school diploma or GED Good math and communication skills • Able to work weekends, holidays and have work schedule flexibility
