We are looking for a Product Integrity Manager to join Collectors. The primary objective of this position is to ensure the integrity of the Collectors product by helping protect consumers from fraudulent/erroneous Collectors products in the marketplace and by educating Collectors employees about said fraudulent/erroneous material to help safeguard Collectors moving forward.

This role will report to the Engineering Manager and work from our headquarters in Santa Ana, CA.

What You'll Do:

  • Collaborate with our Customer Relations team to report counterfeit products, word spamming, etc. to eBay's broader Trust Team, Risk Policy Manager and through their existing reporting programs, such as EMR.
  • Actively monitor online marketplaces and social media platforms to identify potential counterfeit and/or mislabeled Collectors products (including PSA, PSA/DNA, PCGS, and WATA) circulating the market.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with online marketplaces and social media sites to effectively report, remove, and/or prevent fraudulent or problematic sales.
  • Perform thorough investigations on fraudulent sellers/sites and develop formal reports/briefs to present to the management, authorities and/or our legal counsel for advice/direction.
  • Work closely with management, authorities and/or legal counsel to assess our recourse and determine the best course of action with ongoing fraudulent sellers/items.
  • Communicate directly with impacted collectors/customers via phone and email to navigate and help determine their best course of action based on the situation.
  • Document the internal verification process for questioned items (counterfeit or mislabeled) with Operations and Grading.
  • Update and maintain current guides to identify and document both legitimate and counterfeit Collectors products.
  • Develop more streamlined processes to route reports/claims through proper internal channels.
  • Chronicle counterfeit/frequently mislabeled examples and develop a system by which to help educate Research and Grading through technological means.
  • Working across departments (like Marketing) to strategize how to actively combat negative PR tied to product integrity issues and help create more robust, evergreen content around topics such as anti-fraud detection, best practices for buyers, etc.
  • Lead and document training sessions to help staff across all Collectors divisions identify counterfeits.
  • Help build and maintain Collectors' card/holder database
  • Lead by example and be a champion of all company policies, including safety, attendance & security

Who You Are:

  • 3+ years Customer Service experience.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Proficient in various online meeting and messaging platforms/sites.
  • Possesses experience employing creative problem-solving skills.
  • Possess high level of card/collectibles industry knowledge.
  • Proficient understanding of the Grading System and related sites such as the Population Report (i.e., Specs) and APR (pricing) database.
  • Communicates clearly, effectively, and professionally with others both verbally and in writing.
  • Active participant of the various online marketplaces and social media platforms such as eBay, Offer Up, Mercari, Etsy, Instagram, Facebook Marketplace, YouTube, hobby forums/chat groups, etc.
  • Highly familiar with the design of Collectors's past and present labels/holders and cert stickers and letters of authenticity.
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent preferred

Salary Range:

The salary range for this position is $57,920-$94,035. Actual compensation on this range varies based on a variety of non-discriminatory factors, including location, job level, experience, and skill set.
