Due to growth, we are currently seeking Level I, II & III Tower Technicians in La Grange, NC. We are looking for career-oriented individuals with experience in the tower industry as well as those with recreational climbing experience or just an interest in climbing professionally. In these key Tower Tech positions, your primary responsibilities consist of a full range of installation, repair, and maintenance services on our clients’ towers including performing line and antenna systems installation and repairs; conducting maintenance on lighting systems; troubleshooting, replacing, and performing maintenance on 4G & 5G components, coax, fiber, jumpers, TMA’s, connectors, weatherproofing, etc.; and performing microwave antenna and path alignments

Basic qualifications include:

• High school diploma
• Willingness to climb towers; we are seeking individuals who enjoy the thrill of working at heights of 60-200+ feet
• Excellent communication skills
• Valid driver’s license
• Clean background check and drug screening
• Availability for overnight travel
• Willingness to work outside in all weather conditions
• Must be able to lift and carry at least 50 lbs.
• Must be able to climb, balance, bend, stoop, kneel or crawl
• Must be willing to relocate to within 45 minutes of the La Grance, NC office

Level II and III qualifications include:

• 2+ years of tower climbing experience.
• Must have experience in all aspects of line and antenna system installation, replacement, and maintenance
• Current certification in Tower Climbing Safety and Rescue required
• Technical knowledge of wireless telecommunications networks required
• Anritsu Sweep, PIM, Fiber, and CPR/First Aid certifications preferred but not required
• Demonstrate knowledge of OSHA safety guidelines and practical use of these guidelines as well as all other applicable safety laws and policies.
• Basic troubleshooting experience preferred
• Technical knowledge of wireless telecommunications products preferred
• Experience with the following is essential: Antenna installation and alignment, TMA’s, Fiber testing, Coax, Connectors, Jumpers, Installation of steel platforms, and grounding
• Must be willing to relocate to within 45 minutes of the La Grange, NC office
