PICK YOUR LOCATION: We have offices in Denver, CO, Austin, TX, and Cedar Park, TX.

PICK YOUR HOURS: Monday-Friday, you choose: 10a-7p or 9a-6p (CO only), or 8a-5p (TX only).

  • This role also requires two Saturday half-shifts per month in addition.

SUMMARY

The Titles Specialist position at The Savings Group prepares and submits title application documents in accordance to State DMV requirements and Lender specifications, and consistently processes more titles per month than the department average minimum. This position is responsible for problem resolution and non‐traditional situations during the title process, and is able to handle and assist in special projects.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include achieving positive results in the following key areas:

  • Identifies title transactions (i.e. lien add/remove, transfer of ownership, name changes and corrections, and duplicate title applications)
  • Verifies transaction type and completes the required application to obtain a new title
  • Accesses vehicle records to verify Registered Owner/Lender information on Title
  • Contacts DMV, lenders and customers for needed required fees and information to secure Title liens
  • Assesses fees per State DMV guidelines, file fees and documents in a timely manner
  • Copies and files Title forms for retention if reconstruction of documents is needed
  • Notes recorded in company program and file folders
  • Maintain a high level of confidentiality of customer account information, credit reports, etc.
  • Maintains excellent job knowledge of the processes, products, systems, compliance and company information, as well as, continual professional development through personalized training with management, classes, conferences, seminars, workshops, etc
  • Must maintain quarterly production goals for titles processed and pending title follow up. Monthly goals to be given at the beginning of each quarter and subject to skill level, volume and departmental need.
  • Perform other duties as assigned per business requirements.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, and ABILITIES

  • High school diploma or a GED
  • 1+ years’ of Customer Service experience preferred
  • 1+ years’ of Microsoft Word and Excel experience preferred
  • Ability to interpret policies and procedures from State DMV requirements.
  • Ability to access appropriate fees for transaction type
  • Internet navigation skills
  • Ability to interact with a professional demeanor with staff, general public, Insurance companies, DMVs, tag agencies and customers
  • Ability to work independently to drive projects to completion with defined deadlines
  • Must possess excellent planning, problem solving, analytical, organizational, multi‐tasking and interpersonal communication skills
  • Must be detail‐oriented with respect to documentation and execution
  • High level of personal motivation, professionalism, and integrity required. Ability to exercise discretion and judgment

COMPENSATION:

This position pays $20 - 26/hr depending on relevant knowledge, skills, and abilities.
