Tiny Trees Preschool is an all-outdoor preschool operating across King County, WA, with many sites being located within the city of Seattle. At Tiny Trees Preschool, teachers utilize the Pacific Northwest environment to engage preschool aged children with the outdoors. Curriculum focuses on building confident, empathetic, curious kids who like their learning to be a little muddy and a lot active. Tiny Trees Preschool has a variety of funding assistance available for families with lower incomes, as well as a number of specific grants/pathways to support families who may be experiencing other barriers when looking for a preschool. Service members at Tiny Trees will have an excellent opportunity to work in a variety of communities and build relationships both inside and outside of the classroom. While in class, service members will work with kids, develop and implement pre-literacy and pre-math curriculum, develop games and events, maintain safety standards (both general and Covid-19 related), meet with their teaching team members, and overall forge a safe, fun, and productively challenging environment in which preschoolers can learn.
