EXPERIENCED TIG WELDER (TIG Welding Fabrication)
2ND SHIFT DIFFERENTIAL
Successful applicant for this position will preferably have worked in a manufacturing or fabrication environment. Successful applicant MUST HAVE TIG welding experience with stainless steel and aluminum and be able to pass required TIG weld test at interview. This position is full-time, 5 days weekly, and requires a 50 hour weekly schedule.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Performs TIG welding of stainless steel, galvanized and mild steel
Fabricates parts and components from shop drawings or blue prints
Perform job tasks in a safe and efficient manner; observe all safety policies and procedures
Utilizes computer terminal to log into jobs and maintain accurate job records.
QUALIFICATIONS
TIG Welding and fabrication experience REQUIRED
Ability to fabricate from drawings and templates REQUIRED
Knowledge of standard weld symbols and standards REQUIRED
High school education, GED or equivalent PREFERRED
WORK ENVIRONMENT
While performing the duties of this job, the employee frequently works near moving mechanical parts. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate; manufacturing environment, with impact and automatic machinery; high intensity noise areas enclosed.
