We are looking to fill multiple temporary positions in our Houston office. Although welcome, industry experience is not necessary, and paid training will be provided. This is a temporary, non-exempt hourly position. We expect this position to run from Monday, December 19, 2022 – Tuesday, February 28, 2023. A small number of individuals may be invited to join our team on a full-time basis at the scheduled end of the assignment, but we do not anticipate having positions for all temporary hires.

Nova 401(k) Associates is a rapidly growing national third-party administration firm providing administrative services to companies sponsoring 401(k), pension and other qualified retirement plans.

Job Responsibilities:

• Learn our workflow management system
• Learn our valuation system
• Determine if imported file balances
• Make necessary adjustments if file does not balance
• Other assigned duties

Qualifications:

• Prior work experience required, preferably in a professional environment
• High degree of focus
• High degree of attention to detail
• Excellent computer skills including Excel
• Excellent problem solving skills
• Ability to learn quickly
• Knowledge of coding a plus
• Availability to work in our Houston office
• Availability to work during regular business hours
• Clean background check
• Authorized to work for any US employer

Compensation and Benefits:

• Hourly rate of $28.00. If offered full-time employment March 1, 2023, the hourly rate may be lower depending on the position and your qualifications. The temporary rate is higher so that we will receive enough applicants in short period of time and because the temporary position does not include benefits.
• No paid time off or holidays for temporary employees
• If offered full-time employment March 1, 2023, the following additional benefits will be available: Medical, dental, disability and life insurance, paid time off, paid holidays, 401(k) plan with employer match, hybrid schedule, support for professional credentials.

Work Location/Hours:

• Work location: 10777 Northwest Freeway, Houston, TX 77092. There will be no remote or hybrid work through February 28, 2023.
• Work hours: 8:00am – 4:30pm with a 30-minute unpaid lunch
• Overtime: Some paid overtime may be required (maximum required overtime will be 10 hours per week). However, our goal is to require no or minimal overtime.
• Because of training and deadlines, this temporary position contemplates minimal time off for holidays, vacations, etc. through February 28, 2023.
• Office will be closed and individuals will not be able to work: December 23, 2022, December 26, 2022, and January 2, 2023
• Office will be closed, but individuals may choose to work: MLK Day, January 16, 2023
