Meetings. Budgeting. Hiring. Terminating. These are the key duties of an Altra Teller Supervisor. Our La Crosse Losey office is seeking a Teller Supervisor to take on these duties!

As a Teller Supervisor, duties will include, but are not limited to:

  • Supervise all Tellers, Teller Specialists and Senior Tellers in the La Crosse Losey Office.
  • Communicate job expectations and evaluate staff alongside those expectations; perform monthly one-on-one check-ins with direct reports.
  • Participate in the hiring process, train new staff while providing ongoing training and development of existing staff.
  • Approve timecards and time off requests.
  • Establish staff schedules for the teller line.
  • Maintain Teller Cash Offage Report and Misapplied Transaction Reports.
  • Assist in the development of annual budgets for the teller line.
  • Actively participate in monthly Teller Operations meetings.
  • Promote a collaborative work environment that continually strives to improve workflow, work relationships, efficiency, quality of work, member experience, and employee experiences.

Qualified candidates will have a High School diploma, GED or HSED and one (1) to three (3) years of financial institution experience and supervisory experience, preferably from a Credit Union. The Teller Supervisor role does require you to be a leader, to not only perform in a leadership role, but to also be able to recognize others as a leader and develop staff. Teller Supervisors will be required to be trained as a Teller, as they will take on Teller duties when the line or office is short staffed.

The Teller Supervisor position is a Full Time, Monday through Saturday, 40+ hours a week position within the La Crosse Losey office hours of operation. Flexibility to open, close and cover Teller shifts as needed is required.

Lobby Hours:

  • Monday – Thursday: 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
  • Friday: 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

Drive Up Hours:

  • Monday – Thursday: 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
  • Friday: 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
  • Saturday: 8:00 a.m. to Noon

Pay and Benefits:

  • Competitive starting rate of $20.42+ per hour, depending on experience

Experience

Required
  • Teller Supervisors will be required to be trained as a Teller, as they will take on Teller duties when the line or office is short staffed.
  • Required to be a leader, to not only perform in a leadership role, but to also be able to recognize others as a leader and develop staff.
  • One (1) to three (3) years of financial institution experience and supervisory experience, preferably from a Credit Union.
