ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES FOR MODELERS
Interpreting design information from structural, architectural drawings and job specification.
Spatial visualization of the Steel structures and summarizing project technical notes with hand sketches.
Raising RFI (Request for information), queries to the steel fabricator.
Preparing parametric models in a 3D environment tools (Tekla structures).
Creating construction documents (Erection, fabrication, single part drawing, field bolt list etc.).
Creating & ensuring the accuracy of electronic files (NC1, DXF, KSS, XML, XSR, IFC etc.)
Ensuring client standards & Codes like AISC, AWS, OSHA.
Ensuring timely completion of the assigned task.
Technical training & guidance to trainee engineers.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS FOR MODELERS
Bachelor in Civil engineering.
Min. 3 years experiences in 3d modelling and making drawings on Tekla structures.
Good knowledge of English language of writing & verbal skills.
Good knowledge of AISC codes & engineering drawing skills
