Technical Writer Marlton, NJ(Day 1 Onsite) Full Time Client: DCS Corp No H1B/CPT/OPT Job Responsibilities: Documents to be developed include user’s manuals, software installation manuals, reference guides, trainee guides, lesson plans, training slides, and other related material. The candidate must be capable of independently analyzing and breaking down the software function, operation, and administration of the JMPS and then developing supporting documentation and training materials. In addition to the independent work the candidate will work with cross‑functional teams to compile source data inputs, establish training requirements, and review developed material. The candidate will be directly communicating with various Program Office personnel, engineers, Navy personnel, Government ISEAs, and other contractors to obtain required information. The candidate will participate in document validation/verification and In-Process Reviews, program reviews, and telecoms as required. The candidate will be involved in the development and collection of performance metrics for monthly reporting and for use in developing/improving the documentation process. Required Skills: Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.High School Diploma or GED plus 10 years of experience is required. A minimum of an interim Secret security clearance is required. Candidate must be an advanced to expert user with Adobe FrameMaker. Candidate must be an advanced to expert user with MS Office applications specifically MS Word templates and styles. Experience developing software user and/or system administrator manuals.Experience developing software user and/or system administrator training materials. Candidate must be able to analyze and research software in order to develop documentation. Candidate must be familiar with military documentation and training development using current DoD and NAVAIR specifications and standards including but not limited to NAVEDTRA 130, NAVAIR 00-25-100, NAVAIR 00-25-604, MIL-STD-3001, MIL-STD-38784, and MIL-STD-24784. The ability to work independently with limited guidance yet function as a member of a team. Desired Skills: Experience developing documentation and training for military computer systems, specifically the JMPS. Experience with system administration or operations of military planning systems especially in the aviation field and specifically with the JMPS. Experience with XML authoring, the S1000D specification, and Interactive Electronic Technical Manual (IETM) development. Experience with DoD and NAVAIR documentation acquisition processes. Experience developing documentation and training supporting Foreign Military Sales (FMS) cases.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $56,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
