COREONYX Government Solutions, LLC is looking for an experienced hands-on Technical Project Manager (TPM) familiar with managing Agile development for engineering (Systems, Network, Telecommunications/Satcom, Cloud, and Information Systems Security) activities. The TPM will manage sprint and increment planning and support essential software design and implementation decisions with the development teams. In conjunction with the customer, the TPM will own and drive the scheduling of tasks, track dependencies, manage change requests, educate the team on technical best practices, and deliver certainty of outcome to our customers.

On-site at Quantico MCB and our Herndon, VA office. Potential for up to 2 days/week telework.

Responsibilities Include:

• Direct, manage, and own projects and initiatives
• Drive results, tracking and implementing against milestones, from original concept through final implementation
• Build strong client relationships and serve as a trusted advisor
• Effectively communicate with all levels of the organization, including executive leadership
• Define project scope, goals, milestones, and tasks
• Develop work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans, and status reports
• Conduct project meetings and maintain responsibility for project tracking and analysis
• Provide oversight and management of sub-contractors, statements of work (SOW), and manage subcontractor budgets
• Support technology strategy definition in conjunction with project teams
• Facilitate the evaluation, recommendation, architecture, and implementation of new tools
• Support the technical design documentation process and provide input on the practicality of initial design goals and impact on the overall project timeline
• Review, edit and approve deliverables prepared by the project team and create/keep documentation, including installation and other associated technical documents
• Identify, mitigate, and escalate risks and issues using Risk Management best practices
• Close out projects by capturing artifacts and best practices and facilitating lessons-learned sessions

We're Looking For:

• Strong understanding of IT Project Management process and IT Service Management and the ability to provide hands-on support and guidance to the engineering team
• Familiar with Information Systems Security and the assessment and authorization (A&A) processes
• Ability to understand a customer’s needs and translate them into actions
• A collaborator who works openly and transparently with the project team and customers
• Someone who is hands-on and engaged with project teams
• Confidence to advocate for a plan of action, even if it is different from the standard process
• Excellent oral and written communication skills coupled with the proven ability to provide leadership and mentorship to existing team members
• An excellent problem solver who can express themselves verbally and in writing
• Someone who is comfortable working without defined processes and is willing to support process development

Requirements:

• Must be a U.S. Citizen – Veterans are encouraged to apply
• Active Top Secret clearance, must be able to pass a polygraph
• Current PMP certification
• Demonstrated experience working in an Agile development environment
• Well-versed in various Agile methodologies and ability to flexibly apply a methodology based on project needs
• Experience using Microsoft Teams Planner for managing projects or flexibility with management tools
• Ability to create reports from various management tools like Microsoft Teams Planner
• Must have a bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 5 years of project management experience or a minimum of 7 years of experience in place of a college degree
• Able to travel 2-3 times per year in the Continental United States
• SCRUM Master experience preferred
• ITIL certification is a bonus
