Technical CAD Drafter

We specialize in high end and custom window and door products sold in Northern California and other west coast markets. Our Sacramento office is looking for an individual who is ambitious, proactive, and eager to learn while providing design drafting support to our Sales and Production teams. Work includes all aspects of the project from CAD creation, prepping construction documents for review, CAD project documentation and customer redlines per company standards. Strong organizational skills and the ability to think on your feet are a must to be a successful member of our team.

Desired Qualifications & Characteristics:

• Must be proficient in AutoCAD
• Revit or other 3D modeling knowledge is plus
• Experience in mechanical design and layout drawings for construction
• Outstanding ability to work as a member of a team
• Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
• Skill in organizing resources and establishing priorities with ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines
• Assist Sales team in answering technical questions relating to basic unit design, part numbers, special requests, etc. as directed.
• Maintain Database logs and indexes.
• Assist in product design and other duties and assignments as designated by manager.
• Ability to problem solve and willing to learn

Full Time Monday to Friday. Hours to be discussed during interview process. Compensation based on experience.

Pay: From $20.00 to 24.00 per hour, depending on experience
