Position Summary:

We are seeking a experienced and capable Team Lead to work PM shifts to close our venue. Our restaurant is dynamic and hip with a fun and loyal customer base. To be considered for this position, you must possess exceptional customer service instincts, attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to multi-task & work efficiently in a busy environment. The ideal candidate will lead by example, be a strong communicator, extremely organized, detail-oriented, and have the desire to make every customer experience fantastic!

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure customer satisfaction through promoting excellent service
  • Effectively and proactively resolve guest complaints and enter into any position that may need to be filled so as to provide an excellent experience for the guest
  • Checking in with our guests and making sure that they are getting served with the best quality food.
  • Ensure that all guests feel welcome and are given responsive, friendly and courteous service at all times.
  • Get to know your customers and build community relationships

Team Management

  • Oversee the staff for the smooth running of the restaurant
  • Encourage and build mutual trust, respect, and cooperation among team members.
  • Serve as a role model to demonstrate appropriate behaviors
  • Identify the developmental needs of others and coach, mentor, or otherwise helps others to improve their knowledge or skills.
  • Train new employees and provide ongoing training for all staff
  • Plan and delegating work duties to the staff and ensure`` that they work according to the compliance of the restaurant business
  • Conduct inspections of the restaurant and kitchen and ensuring proper hygiene is maintained.
  • Organize closing duties with team members
  • Assist the Restaurant General Manager in the day to day operations of the restaurant

Property Maintenance

  • Ensure all tables and chairs are wiped down, straight and laid out according to the floor plan
  • Ensure Property clear of trash and debris
  • Bathrooms are clean and fully stocked
  • Storage areas are organized and clear of any debris
  • Trash area is clean and swept
  • Ensure approved music is playing at the proper volume throughout the property
  • Ensure that all equipment is kept clean and kept in excellent working condition through personal inspection and by following the restaurant’s preventative maintenance program.

To be considered for this position you must:

  • Have strong interpersonal skills
  • Have relevant restaurant experience
  • Be able to work well under the pressure of meeting production schedules and timelines
  • Be able to perform job functions with attention to detail, speed and accuracy
  • Be skilled at organization, prioritization, and execution
  • Be able to stand for up to 7 hours at a time; bend and squat multiple times per shift, able to lift up to 50 lbs. multiple times per shift
  • Must be fluent in the English language, both written and oral. Multilingual skills are a plus.
  • Have experience operating a POS system & 3rd Party delivery tablets.
  • Be able to maintain excellent customer service skills & high service standards in a fast-paced environment.
  • Adaptability and the ability to creatively troubleshoot difficult situation
  • Ability to maintain a calm demeanor during periods of high volume.
  • Be available to work flexible hours that may include mornings, nights, weekends, and/or holidays
  • Be 18 years of age or older.
