Taco Casa is a safe, fun and friendly environment for everyone that is open 7 days a week (10 AM – 10 PM) providing high quality food for dine in, take out and drive-thru for all our great customers.

Salary

$14 - $18 an hour, overtime over 40 hours per week

Availability

Full Time / Part Time / Weekdays / Weekends /Flexible

First Shift (Day/Afternoon) Second Shift (Afternoon/Night)

Position

Cook will prep, cook and complete all food at the direction of the manager

Requirements

Must follow all Taco Casa procedures and rules and all local/state/federal regulations

Must have great energy, positive attitude and always going beyond expectations

Must be detail focused and maintain high food quality

Must have current Texas Food Handler permit or Texas Food Manager Certificate

Must have reliable transportation

Must work some weekend days

Must be at least 18 years old

Must have excellent physical condition and stamina

Must have the ability to stand constantly, walk constantly and occasionally lift up to 60 pounds

Responsibilities

Assist in all prepping, cooking, setting up and cleaning to open on time

Set up workstations with all needed ingredients and cooking equipment

Check quality of ingredients

Prepare ingredients to use in cooking

Cook food in various utensils, grillers or fryers

Check food while cooking to stir or turn

Keep a sanitized and orderly environment in the kitchen

Ensure all food and other items are stored properly

Constantly monitoring all prep, cook and food lines for proper stock levels and temperatures

Assist in all closing, tear down, and cleaning to close restaurant at end of day
