Responsibilities:

Provides technical expertise and oversight for the identity Management System IDMS known as SAFE serves as system administrator and vendor coordinator for Personnel Security relationships within this system.

• Collaborate with other information management systems administrators and users.
• Serve as the spoke person and act as the technical point of contact for this business application.
• Coordinate day to day collaboration with developers and database administrators to ensure reliability, functional and operability of key business systems.
• Ensure all associated hardware is functioning to issue badges and credentials
• Provide technical expertise and oversight as a system administrator of the SAFE application servers and database.
• Independently identify, research and participate in the resolution of complex problems involving database, application, server and other connected systems and recommend path forward for system for system upgrades and fixes; monitor day-to-day operational activities of support personnel and programmers and troubleshoot problems, ensure the resolution and timely communication
• Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to handle stressful situations
• Ability to work within a complex database including writing SQL queries, monitoring and troubleshooting servers and IIS applications and working with vendors for patching, updates, upgrades, etc.
• Must be a US citizen
• Active or able to obtain a DoE Q clearance
• Strong verbal and written communication, problem resolution and decision making skills
• Solid understanding of general business and specialized Personnel Security fields
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline plus 5 years experience
• Must be located or willing to relocate to Idaho Falls

Pay: $62,970.00 - $102,720.00 per year
