Longwood Gardens seeks a full-time Systems Administrator to join our Information Technology department. The Systems Administrator manages and maintains physical, virtual, and cloud-hosted servers and enterprise systems. The responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Managing on-premise Active Directory Domain.
• Administering Microsoft 365/Azure Active Directory environment.
• Administering SharePoint Online and Exchange Online
• Managing enterprise disaster recovery plan, including performing backup and restore operations.
• Administering VMware host servers and virtual servers.
• Administering SAN storage.
• Monitoring and analyzing infrastructure performance.
• Assists in maintaining secure operations of all systems.
• Managing enterprise equipment lifecycles.

The ideal candidate will have:

• A bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science or a related field.
• At least four years of experience managing server infrastructure, including VMware and cloud-hosted environments.
• Experience with HP Nimble and Dell EMC SAN storage.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Operating Systems and Server technologies on-premise and Microsoft 365.
• Enterprise backup tools, including Veeam and AvePoint.
• Strong analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving skills.
• Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
• This position requires occasional evening and weekend coverage.
