Krucial Rapid Response is seeking a Surgical Technologist to assist in Sedalia, MO

This is permanent staffing opportunity through Krucial Rapid Response driven by a mission to serve others at their greatest time of need.

PAY: $37,856.00-60,216.00

Assignment Details for Surgical Tech:

• Immediate start.
• Day shift, 7:00am-3:00pm

Job Responsibilities for the Surgical Tech:

• Gathers checks and opens supplies and equipment needed for the surgical procedure. Sets up the sterile back table and mayo stand with instruments, supplies, equipment, and medication/solutions needed for procedure.
• Performs the surgical scrub, donning and doffing of gown and gloves and personal protective equipment, and assists gowning/gloving others.
• Maintains highest standard of sterile technique during the procedure. Anticipates the needs of the surgeon by passing instruments and supplies during the procedure.
• Cleans and prepares instruments for terminal sterilization at the end of case. Demonstrates teamwork through communication, cooperation, coordination, and conflict resolution with others and implementing multidisciplinary actions to provide a continuity of care.
• Provides for accurate care and handling of specimens. Follow all standards and policies providing safe patient care as in surgical counts, handwashing, sterile consciousness, time outs and debriefs, etc.

Requirements and Qualifications for the Surgical Tech:

• Graduate of Surgical Technologist program accredited through ARC/STSA or LPN with on-the-job training
• Must have a valid, current MO Scrub Technologist Diploma; Certified Scrub Tech or MO LPN License
• BLS certification required within 6 months of employment
