The Welch Eye Center is fast-paced General Ophthalmology practice that is rapidly growing. We are currently looking for an experienced full-time surgical coordinator who has a caring attitude and excellent communication skills.

Ideal candidate must have strong attention to detail and excellent verbal and written communication skills. The ability to problem solve and multitask with a friendly demeanor a must. Must be able to be part of a cohesive group as well as work independently. Excellent Data entry/typing skills a must. Must have experience in back office Optometry or Ophthalmology. Bilingual a plus.

Responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to: giving surgery dates and Instructing patients face to face regarding the details of their surgery, reading chart notes & doctor orders, filling out orders/paperwork, POF’s to be sent to multiple facilities, using critical thinking when looking at patient data and measurements. Must be self-motivated, organized, customer service oriented and a team player.

Salary dependent upon experience. Excellent benefit package.
