ECU Health Physicians and the Division of General & Specialty Surgery at the ECU Brody School of Medicine are seeking a General and Bariatric/Minimally Invasive Surgeon to contribute to the growth and development of the division.

Candidate will provide instruction to medical students and appropriate training and supervision to general surgery residents. Candidate will be expected to provide a combination of general and bariatric surgery.

Fixed term or tenure track positions are available at the title/rank of Clinical Assistant Professor/Assistant Professor, Clinical Associate Professor/Associate Professor or Clinical Professor/Professor.


Minimum Education/Experience
MD or DO from an appropriately accredited institution.

Full unrestricted license to practice medicine in the state of North Carolina and board certified or board eligible in general surgery.

Proven interest and ability to teach residents and medical students.

License or Certification Required by Statute or Regulation
NC Medical license and board certification or board eligible

Preferred Experience, Skills, Training/Education
Interest in complex hernia repair. Robotic training and certification.
