As a trainer on our team, you’ll provide in-person instruction for our Navy client through live audience instruction. You’ll showcase your technical expertise and industry knowledge and collaborate to devise creative solutions for mission-critical problems. Be empowered to tap into your creative thinking and leadership experience to develop, manage, and deliver training using the ADDIE model process to create learning objectives, ensuring a variety of learning styles for learners' needs. Use training materials, media, technology, and delivery to cultivate a learning environment that actively promotes learner engagement. You Have:

  • 3+ years of experience with USN training requirements and processes and procedures for developing training curricula, including planning, analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation (PADDIE)
  • Experience as a Navy Instructor or with Afloat Training Group
  • Experience as a Navy Quartermaster or Engineering Department Leader
  • Knowledge of Hull, Mechanical, and Electrical (HM&E) systems, including Command and Control (C2) systems, such as steering gear, switchboards, machinery control systems, bridge and navigation systems, and deck equipment
  • Secret clearance
  • HS diploma or GED

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience as an NEC 9502 instructor
  • Experience as Navy enlisted ratings EN, GS, EM, or CPO
  • Experience providing Surface Warfare Schools Command instruction, operation, testing, remediation, curriculum support, including updates and curriculum maintenance, administration, safety, and management support services for formalized naval training
  • Knowledge of Navy Education and Training (NAVEDTRA) 130 Series and DoD 29612 reports, including how to design and develop training solutions based on results of training task analysis

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $65,400.00 to $149,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
