ThinkSIGN is a designer and manufacturer of LED signage. Headquartered in Louisville KY, ThinkSIGN wholesales LED signs to partners who integrate our products into larger signage projects for schools, churches, retailers, and various markets in the visual communications industry. An LED sign is primarily comprised of three critical systems; electrical, data distribution, and a modular cabinet system to house the components. ThinkSIGN is seeking a person to join the team as a Support Technician to provide better training and support to our growing network of partners.

The ideal candidate is someone who’s eager to learn both a product and an industry. The role of our Support Technician is to assist new partners with installation, and acclimation to our product, as well as to assist and troubleshoot issues should they arise. Support Technician will continue to train, assist both sales and support of end-user and partners. Our ideal candidate is technically minded, diplomatic, patient, and strong self management.

Role & Responsibilities:

· Interact with customers to provide and process information in response to inquiries, concerns, and requests about products and services

· Remotely diagnose and resolve technical hardware and software issues

· Rapidly establishing a good working relationship with customers and other professionals.

· Resolve customer issues in a fast and professional manner

· Prioritize and manage many open cases at one time

· Keep customers updated on the progress of resolving their issues

· Work continuously on a task until completion

· All other assigned duties

Desired Skills and Experience

· 2+ years of electronic and IT experience (Preferred)

· Self-motivated and directed with a strong work ethic

· Must be able to communicate clearly both verbally (in person and over the phone) and written (emails and ticket documentation)

· Ability to troubleshoot and support unfamiliar systems and applications using existing knowledge or the ability to seek out necessary resources

· Computer Skills:

· Technical skills in Windows OS

· MS Office

· Good knowledge of current hardware technologies

· Ability to learn and adapt to new technologies

Education and/or Experience

· Associates Degree in related field or 2+ years of experience in an IT Service/Help Desk role

· Experience in remote troubleshooting (basic electronics, computers and basic network issues)
