Minimum Qualifications Summary


Certification & Education
  • BA/BS in Digital Multimedia Design or similar.
  • 6 years of on-the-job experience within the last 10 years and with portfolio available upon request.
  • Active SECRET Clearance


Experience Required
  • Experience with producing courseware using audio narration and editing, digital video production and editing, and video duplication. Preferably with Navy or NSW Commands.
  • Previous experience at producing, analyzing, synthesizing, and adapting media products by using commercial tools such as Camtasia, Photoshop, Adobe Suite, Final Cut Pro, Adobe Premier Pro, iMovie, Adobe After Effects, and Adobe Audition to create rich media courseware

Job Objective
Support Naval Special Warfare Leadership Education and Development Command (NLEAD) staff and subject matter experts (SME) in creating and engaging multimedia products. Effort includes support for the design, development, and maintenance of digitally constructed learning products to be utilized on various multimedia management platforms.
Responsibilities
  • Work with NLEAD staff, instructors, and SMEs in creating engaging multimedia.
  • Design, develop, and maintain digitally constructed learning products for NLEAD faculty and staff.
  • Produce courseware using audio narration and editing, digital video production and editing, and video duplication.
  • Support multimedia studio set-up and design, as well as manage and maintain studio equipment.
  • Conduct tasking within the video management platforms in conjunction with the NLEAD faculty and staff.
  • Upload and create all multimedia products to various multimedia management platforms.
  • Advise Government task lead on the management of video product accessibility by using categories, tags, galleries, and groups as determined by the Government lead.
  • Produce, analyze, synthesize, and adapt media products by using commercial tools such as Camtasia, Photoshop, Adobe Suite, Final Cut Pro, Adobe Premier Pro, iMovie, Adobe After Effects, and Adobe Audition to create rich media courseware.
  • Create multimedia products for faculty and staff by using approved production practices.
  • Develop and narrate tutorials for use in TEAMS and/or other virtual platforms.
  • Develop and shoot video to support NLEAD faculty and staff.
  • Duplicate and convert DVDs in support of NLEAD faculty and staff.
  • Record and edit video through the use of still camera, video editing, and audio editing equipment in support of NLEAD faculty and staff.
Education & Certification
  • SECRET clearance required.
  • BA/BS in Digital Multimedia Design or similar. Shall have 6 years of on-the-job experience within the last 10 years and with portfolio available upon request.
