Job Summary
Provides departmental leadership for all dietary, laundry and housekeeping department employees. Manages the overall operations of the dietary, laundry, and housekeeping departments including: fiscal, staff performance and operations management. Ensures that all standards and regulations concerning dietary services are met and maintained. Ensures a quality dietary program for patients.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, developing, training, and retaining employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
Education and/or Experience
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and a minimum of two years related experience and/or training in food service management required.
CERTIFICATION, LICENSURE, and/or REGISTRATIONS
- Serve Safe Certificate, Certified Dietary Manager Certificate must be obtained within 1 year of employment.
Work Schedule
- Ability to work various shifts as scheduled.
Pay
The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.
- $20.00 - $24.75 per hour
