POSITION TITLE: Supply Chain Analyst
REPORTS TO: Director of Transportation
POSITION SUMMARY:
Key member of the transportation team with responsibility to provide operational support through the coordination of quality, service, analytics, and administrative functions within the transportation group.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Work closely with transportation and warehouse teams to support transportation needs.
- Develop and maintain transportation and outbound performance dashboards via excel and google sheets.
- Work with the technology team on development of future reporting and visualization dashboards to support the business.
- Identify and drive process improvement opportunities.
- Development and documentation of company SOP’s.
- Field liaison for transportation support.
- Client follow up on package resolution.
- Financial and operational performance analysis and trending.
- Additional responsibilities as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS and ADDITIONAL INFO:
- Remote position
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain/Logistics, Finance, or related field preferred, but not required
- 2 years’ transportation experience
- Less than 10% travel is required
- Advanced degree of proficiency MS Office Suite, Outlook & Internet applications
- Strong analytical, prioritizing, interpersonal, problem-solving, & planning skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated collaborative skills and ability to work well within a team
- Ability to work with and influence peers and senior management
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment
- Self-motivated with critical attention to detail, deadlines and reporting
PAY/BENEFITS INFORMATION:
- Actual starting pay is determined by various factors, including but not limited to relevant experience and location.
