Job description

We are looking for School-Age teachers for Summer! We are looking for teachers who can work 40 hours a week. The hours will vary between 7am-6pm. We are needing responsible teachers who can participate in various activities with the kids, as well as accompanying them on 2-3 field trips each week. The ages in these classrooms are Kindergarten-5th grade.

Responsibilities:

• Instruct age-appropriate activities designed to promote intellectual and creative growth
• Chaperone the children on various field trips each week
• Driving the daycare vans to and from field trips
• Create a fun and safe learning environment
• Develop schedules and routines to ensure adequate physical activity, rest, and playtime
• Establish and maintain positive relationships with students and parents
• Communicate with parents on students' growth and progress
• Maintain the health and safety of all students

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in childcare, teaching, or other related fields
• Passionate about working with children
• Ability to build rapport with children
• Positive and patient demeanor
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Must be 18 years or older

Benefits:

• After 6 months of employment, teachers receive paid holidays
• Teachers start accruing PTO hours upon hire that they may use for sick or vacation time

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $13.00 - $14.50 per hour

• 10 hour shift
