Job description
Qualifications:
- Graduate of a qualified 4-year engineering program (meets NCEE standards for licensing).
- Exhibits sound structural engineering judgment through education, work experience, or portfolio.
- Exhibits leadership qualities and ability to organize engineering functions on projects.
- Exhibits ability to independently generate thorough and accurate engineering calculations.
- Proficient with current CAD/Revit platform, RISA, Bluebeam, and Microsoft OS.
- Proficient with modeling/drafting skills in CAD.
Responsibilities:
- Perform assigned engineering tasks on projects.
- Develop design calculations for precast/prestressed concrete components and their connections.
- Analyze load transfer through each component.
- Pursue and coordinate required engineering information with project team as necessary.
- Communicate change in schedule or scope of work with Project Engineer and/or PM.
- Stay current with engineering, and client standards.
- Perform drafting and checking responsibilities as required.
