POSITION SUMMARY:

Clearway Health (CH) is a fast-growing, specialty pharmacy accelerator. We help other health systems build, develop, and operate their own specialty pharmacy program aimed at providing exceptional patient care and outcomes while delivering significant financial results. Clearway Health is seeking an experienced Strategy Portfolio Manager who can bring a fresh, unique perspective to portfolio management and go-to-market processes. The Strategy Portfolio Manager will serve a critical role enabling our rapidly growing organization to put our corporate strategic roadmap into action. Focusing on the highest priority initiatives of the organization, you will build relationships across Clearway Health and lead the ongoing management and definition of our corporate roadmap for companywide success.

The Strategy Portfolio Manager will be responsible for organizing and enabling growth initiatives through oversight, analysis and feasibility evaluations of identified strategies for Clearway Health.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES / DUTIES:
  • Identify and maintain a comprehensive inventory of strategic objectives mapped to Clearway Health strategic goals
  • Set up, structure and lead strategic projects (e.g., strategy definition, cost reduction, turnaround, competitor analysis, portfolio review, operation improvement projects) across complex settings towards clear decisions and impact
  • Manage a portfolio of strategic initiatives from inception to feasibility and analysis
  • Lead the "go to market (execution)" preparation activities of approved strategy investments and facilitate the hand-off to the PMO and or corporate functional team
  • Partner across the organization, including Client Development, Industry Affairs, and Client Services teams, to monitor changes in the healthcare landscape affecting strategic portfolio and provide recommendations for future direction
  • Oversee and direct the integration of multi-disciplinary programs and initiatives spanning across the enterprise in support of the long term and short-term growth
  • Act as a thought partner and advisor to the Clearway Health leadership team in identifying key priorities and strategic topics for discussion within their functions and jointly across the discovery portfolio
  • Organize and prepare all project portfolio related meetings and ensure appropriate follow-up. Provide executive briefing documents related to strategy portfolio advancement and management
  • Lead discussions with executive leadership team on cost benefit analysis, issue resolution, and portfolio strategy
  • Develop a gating and prioritization process to classify, weight and organize project portfolio and support decision-making and project and / or initiative launch time
  • Communicate portfolio status and priorities, highlight risks and resource gaps to be addressed
  • Assist initiative leadership in developing timelines, milestones, and success metrics for distinct projects and develops ongoing assessments.
  • Partner closely with Business Operations and Finance to enable strategic resource allocation and trade-off discussions within the function
  • Serve as the internal lead to support facilitation of annual Clearway Health strategy day, as well as quarterly portfolio reviews for executive leadership.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

EDUCATION:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent, with demonstrated high performance
  • At least 3-4 years of experience in roles requiring strong critical thinking and project/program management

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS REQUIRED:
  • N/A

EXPERIENCE:
  • 5 to 7 years business experience, preferably in strategy consulting
  • Ability to see the "big picture" and prioritize appropriately by focusing on work that will deliver the highest impact to the organization
  • Experience in facilitating review processes or executive-level meeting routines, and in interacting and communicating effectively with all levels of an organization
  • Strategic mindset and approach to solving problems and identifying creative solutions
  • A results-driven approach to work, proven personal initiative, and an ability to work proactively and with a strong sense of urgency
  • A proven ability to rapidly absorb and master new content and terminology

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
  • Critical thinking and creativity Comprehensive understanding of the 340B drug program, insurance navigation and basic pharmacy liaison workflows.
  • Ability to effectively communicate goals and business objectives to employees
  • Strong and effective decision-making skills
  • Strong organization and time management skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Suite of products (i.e., Word, Excel, PPT, etc.) especially Microsoft Project and Microsoft Project Server products
  • Ability to effectively interact with all levels of the organization
  • Ability to effectively delegate work and manage project tasks
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with ability to convey complex or technical information in an effective manner
