GoodVets is a fast-growing veterinary management organization looking to hire a Strategy & Operations Associate to support our Growth and Operations teams. Our hospitals are a premier destination for elevated, full-service healthcare for pets. We are growing rapidly in multiple markets nationally as we head toward our Series C round. The Strategy & Operations Associate will support the leadership team of GoodVets, including the Chief Operating Officer, Chief Growth Officer and Chief of Staff. They will play a major role in supporting the analysis, development, and execution of company-wide strategic initiatives and building critical operational infrastructure. This individual will be required to use a combination of analytical, project-management, and technical skills to evaluate and solve key business problems while considering multiple stakeholders. You will be a strategic advisor, project architect, and mover-and-shaker.

Your work will include

  • Working cross-functionally across teams to improve growth and efficiency of various business units
  • Optimizing hospital opening processes and identifying standards and efficiencies across the hospital opening lifecycle
  • Identifying and evaluating new partnership and vendor opportunities to the leadership team, utilizing comprehensive business cases and presentations
  • Assisting medical leadership translating and implementing the best new medical practices into operational paradigms
  • Supporting the Product Team in Ideation, management, and release of proprietary technology initiatives
  • Assisting the Chief Financial Officer with exploring efficiencies and implementing new finance and accounting technology

What we look for:

  • 2-3 years of management consulting experience or strategic/operational experience at a high-growth business
  • Best-in-class excel skills and extensive experience developing quantitative analyses paired with strong critical thinking and judgement
  • Ability to synthesize and present qualitative & quantitative information through PowerPoint
  • Motivated self-starter with the ability to own multiple projects while hitting task deadlines
  • Experience working in a high growth business environment
  • Excellent communicator in written and oral form
  • Ability to flex between high-level strategic thinking and deep problem solving
  • Strong project reporting skills, with a focus on interdepartmental communication
  • Entrepreneurial and growth mindset
  • 3.5 minimum GPA
