Store Manager in Training

Essential duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
bull; Supervise and manage the general operations of the entire store.
bull; Provide and ensure exceptional customer service in the store.
bull; Ensure a positive, professional work environment for all customers and associates.
bull; Lead by example, be approachable by all associates and customers.
bull; Proactively address conflicts and customer complaints in an efficient, professional manner.
bull; Ensure effective training and development for all associates.
bull; Ensure and maintain effective expense and payroll budget management.
bull; Order and maintain desirable product inventory levels to ensure store profitability.
bull; Manage and ensure compliance with all practices and procedures necessary to manage inventory. Monitor inventory numbers and take corrective actions.
bull; Ensure receiving, checking in and stocking of merchandise for the store is being done completely.
bull; Ensure weekly price changes are being completed.
bull; Manage and maintain a clean and orderly sales floor, stock room and outdoor merchandise areas.

Requirements:
bull; Management and retail experience required; hardware experience preferred.
bull; High school diploma, or equivalent.
bull; Valid driver's license.
bull; United States work authorization.
bull; Ability to stand for extended periods of time, walk, lift (up to 50 pounds) and climb.
bull; Ability to use the Internet, Word and Excel.

Work Shift:

Store operates Monday-Sunday.

40 plus hours a week, with the schedule varying due to opening and closing requirements.

Work every third weekend, required.

Work Location:

Our client operates two store locations: Louisburg and Youngsville, NC. The Store Manager will be responsible for travel between stores and work at either location as assigned.
