Store Associate
The Store Associate participates in the daily operation of the retail store including sales and customer service, delivery, inventory – pulling orders, stocking and replenishment, shipping, and others in support of the overall growth and maintenance of the store. This is a fun position that enables you to work with our products as well as interact with customers on different levels. It is a position that enables future growth within the organization.

The individual selected for this role will be expected to work on-site at the Millcraft store located at:
420 W Dussel Dr, Maumee, OH 43537
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Support the sales efforts by selling products and providing customer service daily
- Stock shelves, set up displays, clean store equipment, load/ unload delivery trucks, and rotate all incoming stock
- Utilize RF scanner and other methods to log incoming materials and products
- Ensure sales transactions are completed accurately and maintain precise work order files
- Maintain the warehouse space by ensuring it is clean, neat, orderly and above all else; safe
- Assist customers in person and over the phone by determining needs and presenting appropriate products and logging their orders
- Fill customer orders and make certain that the orders are ready for pick-up or delivery at customers requested time
- Load customer vehicles and outgoing delivery trucks
- Utilize a Millcraft vehicle to make customer deliveries
- Order incoming materials as needed
- Maneuver about in a safe and effective manner
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Ability to retrieve products from shelves, warehouse and floor stacks and lift and carry up to 70 lbs, with or without reasonable accommodation
- Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record
- Ability to operate company equipment and vehicles
- Ability to pass a pre-employment physical and drug screen
- Proficiency in Excel and Word
- Solid basic math aptitude
- Previous experience using RF scanners and an ERP system is preferred
- Ability to use material handling equipment
EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE:
- Possess a High School diploma or a comparable certification (e.g. GED); some college or degree preferred
- 1-3 years of retail experience in a customer facing environment
TRAVEL:
- No travel – outside of a daily delivery schedule within a close radius using a company-provided vehicle

Additional requirements include the ability to walk or navigate about, bend, lift, stoop, squat, push, pull, see, hear, and listen in order to fully perform the functions of this position.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
The work environment is moderately quiet. Work is performed in an office type environment or back warehouse with existing or potential customers, employees, or others. Within the office, floors are tile or concrete. Temperature is moderated by heat in the winter and air conditioning or air circulation methods in the summer.
