Responsibilities:
  • Stores and issues materials in the stockroom.
  • Kits work order packets and fills orders according to requisitions.
  • Uses scales or manual counting to accurately kit work orders and fill requisitions.
  • Assists in inventory cycle counts as required.
  • Moves material to other plant locations based on production needs.
  • Assists Shipping Department to package products for shipment by boxing, banding, or shrink-wrapping skids.
  • Performs computer data entry: first issue, fill shortages, “WIP” work in process work orders and cycle counts
  • Assists with generating and reviewing daily reports: short on hand) and negative on hand.
  • Kits and documents material movement for “out plant” vender work orders.
Qualifications:
  • Ability to perform routine duties, recognize unusual conditions, and solve minor problems.
  • Proficient in basic math
  • Strong attention to detail to prevent damage and loss of materials or products.
  • Basic computer skills including the ability to perform standard software operations including SAP, UPS, and FedEx.
  • Ability to frequently walk, stand, crouch, stoop, bend, reach or climb for prolonged periods of time.
  • Ability to frequently ascend, retrieve material, and descend safely on a 12 foot rolling ladder.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and interact positively with others within the organization.
  • Ability to prioritize and organize work.
  • Ability to operate at a level that meets or exceeds quality and productivity standards for the work area.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.

Education and Experience Required
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1 years of experience in a warehouse or related setting.
