Sterilization Technician

What we Offer

• Pay: $20 - $25 per hour
• Benefits: Medical, Dental, PTO and Holiday Pay
• Schedule: 4 day work week

Responsibilities:

• Support dental hygienist and entire clinical team with setting up, cleaning and stocking rooms
• Prepare tables and trays for dentists with necessary instruments, materials and supplies
• Maintain steady inventory of supplies and instruments
• Work closely with team members to ensure clinical supplies are available
• Patient charting, documentation and taking x-rays
• Chair turnover – clean and sterilize instruments, and prepare treatment rooms as needed
• Backup chairside assistant for doctors with all dental procedures and patient charting
• Manage sterilization are with cleaning instruments, and organizing trays.
• Seat patients and take xrays - if certified
• Other responsibilities as needed

Qualifications:

• X-ray certification (Preferred but not required)
• Chair side experience in general dentistry (Preferred but not required)
• Experience with or ability to quickly adapt to a new EMR
• This person must by organized, attention to detail, like to organize and clean, self managed, strong work ethic, willing to grow into a career as a dental assistant.
