What You’ll Do
- Maintain accurate sterilization and testing logs
- Demonstrate competence and maintain aseptic technique
- Perform sterilization process according to manufactures IFU
- Decontaminate and sterilize instruments, medical supplies and equipment, assemble, wrap and sterilize trays of instruments.
- Monitors biological and chemical wash solution to ensure quality and consistency for decontaminiation of instruments and medical equipment
- Sorts mismatched sets of instruments, trays, and medical equipment and makes them available to sterile processing customers in a timely manner to assist in turnovers
- Verified that equipment functions properly, submit requisitions for equipment maintenance, repair or replacement and removes defective equipment
- Assist with maintaining established departmental policies and quality improvement, safety and environmental infection control standards.
What You’ll Bring

- High School Diploma or GED
Knowledge / Skills
- Surgical Sterile technique
Experience
- 1 year of experience in sterile processing, preferred
Licensure / Certification
- CRCST required within one year from date of hire
- BLS upon hire
