Christian Care Communities is currently seeking a Staffing Coordinator for our Christian Health Center in Bowling Green, Kentucky.

Requirements for a Staffing Coordinator:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Must be a Certified Nursing Assistant- CNA
  • 2 years' related experience
  • Preferred Long Term Care Setting

Responsibilities for a Staffing Coordinator:

  • Develops and posts work schedules by the 15th for the next month
  • Ensures timely Certified Nurse Aide (CNAs) assignment to meet needs of new admissions as well as existing residents
  • Maintains schedule on a daily basis of any staffing changes or resident status changes and communicates accordingly
  • Facilitates the timely completion of paper work and data entry pertinent and necessary to fulfill job duties
  • Maintains tracking system for CNA annual license renewal and communicates to the Kentucky Board of Nursing, Health Center Nursing Administration, and Human Resources Department
  • Maintains a current listing of employee contact numbers for call-ins. Keeps a pool of replacement and coordinates vacation and time-off request. Maintains records of employees who miss shifts; produces reports
  • Notifies the Director of Nursing (DON) of short staffing situations; contacts replacement personnel and modifies schedule when required
  • Coordinates time-off request with the DON
  • Coordinates with DON to secure contract labor when necessary
  • Communicates staff assignments to managers and staff
  • Demonstrates knowledge of the computer software program and of proper documentation procedure
  • Personifies outstanding customer service to co-workers, clients and vendors by acting as a subject matter resource in a timely, considerate and friendly manner, always maintaining the "Golden Rule" approach; practices patience and kindness.
